Based in Reading in Berkshire, Danalimatt Gundogs is a small kennel owned and run by myself, Ali Nicholson-Haynes. 

Having owned and been involved with dogs for over 30 years, they have been a big part of my life. Growing up with Afghan Hounds, Great Danes, Terriers and German Shepherds, I now own a German Wirehaired Pointer and four Working Cocker Spaniels.

I have studied canine psychology, behaviour and how dogs learn, having completed two courses so far and my intention is to continue with this study with canine care and first aid.  I attend canine training courses ranging from obedience (beginners, intermediate and advanced), gundog graded training in conjunction with The Gundog Club and the Kennel Club Good Citizen award scheme. I also assist at weekly canine obedience classes.

In March of 2008 I founded and launched the West Berkshire Gundog Club, providing outdoor training for enthusiasts of the gundog breeds.  The launch was a great success and due to the number of enquiries for puppy gundog training, we now provide puppy classes every fortnight.
